Good riddance
How can I store my audio equipment neatly, safely and easily? Some suppliers offered solutions for this problem, but often supplied in separate parts instead of fully assembled. Tau thought that there should be an easier solution for this problem. That is why they founded the T-racks brand in 2010; fully assembled stylish black 19″ cabinets available from stock in both wall mounted and freestanding models.
19” rack accessories
To make the solution complete, 19” rack accessories such as blank panels, vented panels and material for non-19 “equipment cannot be missed. But over the years there were more requests for accessories such as perforated doors, plinths and 2 or 3U drawers. Reason for T-racks to expand the portfolio considerably.
Extensive offer
Tau is happy to put some of the accessories in the spotlight. Of course, on the T-racks accessories page, you will find a complete overview of all 19” rack accessories. The accessories have the same black stylish finish as the cabinets.
- Fixed Shelves: The shelves ensure that you can also store individual equipment in your rack. They are ventilated to allow a continuous air flow.
- Plinths: The plinths are available in two different depths for the free-standing cabinets. They are used to mount under the cabinet. The wheels and adjustable feet are no longer visible, which gives it a cleaner look. There are 3 holes to be able to put cables through.
- L-rails: L-rails are used to make audio devices of special dimensions suitable in the 19” rack. These supports can carry heavy equipment and are available in different sizes so that they can be used in any cabinet.
- Drawers: The 2U and 3U drawers are used for storing, for example, a remote control, small material or a manual. The drawers are equipped with a lock so that any valuables can be stored in it.
- Blank and vented panels: The blank and vented panels clean up the empty spaces in the cabinet in a neat way. This gives the 19” rack a sleek and tidy appearance. The panels are available in sizes 1, 2 and 3U.
- Perforated doors: Especially with larger installations it can get very hot in a cabinet. A perforated door supports good air circulation. The doors are available for the 27, 37 and 42HE cabinets.
T-racks patch cabinets
The T-racks wall mounted cabinets are available in 6, 9, 12 and 15U with a depth of 45 or 60 centimeters. For the free-standing cabinets, a depth of 60 centimeters is standard, with heights of 15, 18, 22, 27, 37 and 42U. In addition, the cabinets with heights of 37U and 42U are also available with a depth of 80 centimeters. All cabinets are provided with a smoke glass door with lock. A set of adjustable feet and wheels is always supplied with the free-standing cabinets. Depending on the size of the cabinet 1, 2 or 3 trays are included.
