Sound masking system brings privacy to BENU pharmacy MCG

Emitters are specially designed ceiling loudspeakers, that reduce the speech intelligibility among each other. This is achieved by adding sound or noise to the speech frequency area. To control the emitters, a Qt 100 controller of Cambridge is used.
Cambridge, Bosch and T-racks in pharmacy
To add extra distraction in the waiting room, and thus making the waiting period more bearable, background music is provided. To this end, full range speakers are build into the ceiling. They are driven by the (PLE-1MA030-EU) Plena mixer amplifier of Bosch. To neatly conceal this amplifier, it’s installed in a (WCB9-645) 9U rack of T-racks. The unused spaces inside the rack are shielded with vented and blank panels, from the accessories of T-racks. The Cambridge Qt controller is also installed in this rack, with the specially provided mounting bracket. The emitters and build in speakers suit the fresh, open look of this brand new pharmacy perfectly. Because of their unobtrusive, flat, white grilles they are barely noticeable in the ceiling, maintaining the neat and tidy look of the room.
