SoundTube FP Series
A speaker from the FP series by SoundTube features a transparent dome containing two speakers. These speakers project a beam of sound downward, enabling the sound signal to be specifically directed below. This ensures the sound is primarily heard by individuals standing under the dome.
Sound shower
The focus speakers are also referred to as “sound showers.” They create a kind of sound shower, sending audio to a specific area without causing noise disturbance in the surrounding environment. Conversely, the speakers ensure excellent audibility for the person standing beneath them, even in noisy environments. The FP speakers can be used as pendant speakers or integrated higher into the ceiling. For optimal results, the speakers should be positioned 45 to 60 centimeters above the audience.
Interactive speakers
For optimal interaction between a project and its audience, the FP series offers various optional extras. For instance, the focus speakers can be equipped with a motion sensor, known as the FP-Motion Mod. This sensor activates the speaker and makes the sound audible as someone walks under the dome. This feature is ideal for environments like museum halls, where different domes provide commentary about an artwork in various languages. Another optional accessory is the FP-Light Mod, which equips the dome with LED lighting. This light beam emphasizes the speaker or ensures accompanying informational text on the ground is clearly readable.
