Multi-zone audio installation
Catering establishments can consist of individual spaces, all of which have to be provided with music. Stanislaus Brewskovitch, for example, contains a bar, a lounge area, a gallery, an upper floor and a visitors space next to the brew kettles. In addition, this brewpub also needed a separate audio solution for live music on the stage, with the possibility for bands to easily plug into existing equipment.
Furnish individual zones
All these different spaces have their own wishes and demands, but in each space good quality and budget and user friendliness are important. For the background music in the lounge area, the gallery and the upper floor, the LB20-PC60EW-5D surface mount loudspeakers of Bosch have been installed. Because the music at the bar and the brew kettles may be turned up at times, larger surface mount loudspeakers are needed here, so the LB20-PC60-8D from the LB20 series is used. A music computer provides the music for both loudspeaker zones. For complete control over the configuration and signal processing of the audio installation, the Pema4250.10 mixer amplifier of Ashly and the Project120P power amplifier of t&mSystems are applied. At the front door of the church, a rotatable podium has been build, which can be stowed away when it’s not used. For this live sound installation, heavier loudspeakers have been installed, the Archon 108 of FBT, with a wattage of 350. These surface mount loudspeakers are separately powered by a KLR-2000 600 Watts power amplifier of Ashly. An Ashly digiMIX18 has also been implemented in the installation, this is a digital mixing desk and audio processor. Musicians and music bands can plug their equipment or own mixing desk into it, if needed. Behind the bar full control is retained, using a simple controller: an RW-8C wall control panel of Ashly. The amplifiers are concealed neatly in a 9U wall mounted rack of T-racks.
More than happy
At the brewpub, they are more than happy with the equipment’s performance. Emiel ter Morsche from Vibeon really appreciated the collaboration with Tau: “Tau has supported us splendidly during the implementation of the audio and accompanied us to the venue for a demo. Tau was also available for Vibeon’s engineers, when they had some queries during the installation.” The appreciation is mutual, according to Arjen Bezemer from Tau: “This was the first real collaboration with Vibeon. The contact was established several years earlier, though, with Vibeon leaning on our (Tau) knowledge, expertise and products for all audio solutions. We have extradited several orders for the expansion of existing audio installations and/or service purposes, for instance. I’ve had a pleasant collaboration with Emiel. Vibeon is a serious company with many business relations at (regional) government agencies and SMEs, a genuine specialist when it comes to AV integration in, among others, funeral homes and crematoriums.”
Share our pleasure in craft beer
The former Mennonites church in Enschede (The Netherlands) is converted to a brewpub with an industrial look. In this brewpub of Stanislaus Brewskovitchy, the glad tidings of beer are brought and a full beer experience is created. They also offer over 750 different local, national and international specialty beers in the cosy craft beer stores in Enschede and Zwolle. In addition to the option of booking private tastings, in both residences the monthly VRIJMIBIPS (this translates loosely to Friday afternoon beer tasting session) takes place. Brewing their own beers is something that Stanislaus Brewskovitch has been doing for years, as any true lover of specialty beers should. For example, they produced the SambalBij, the Swheetie Darling, the All Black, the Sunmilk, Bockie Wonderland and Winter Blues. Stanislaus Brewskovitch also likes to organise specialty beer festivals, like the Winter Wonders Winter beer festival, the bock beer festival EN NOU OPBOCKEN!! and the yearly recurring Dutch Craft Beer Festival.
Vision in experience and unburdening
Vibeon Beeld en Geluid (vision and sound) offers all kinds of audiovisual solutions. Vibeon, based in Hengelo (The Netherlands), has over 10 years of experience in advising, trading and maintaining complex as well as simple audiovisual solutions for any budget and every line of business. The company anticipates how audio or audio/video can be applied best to specific situations and makes sure the use of the equipment is self explanatory. This is why they focus on the simplicity, reliability and quality of the audiovisual equipment. Unburdening their customers before, during, and after the completion of the project is also very important. ‘Vibeon’ therefore is constructed from the sentence Visie in Beleving en Ontzorging (this loosely translates to vision in experience and unburdening). For use in the funeral industry, Vibeon has developed special software, for instance, making it easy for those left behind to compose presentations themselves. The expertise and personal no-nonsense approach are very much appreciated by their customers.
